# PriorStates

> PriorStates makes PriorStates Studio, which makes small apps when you ask for them in plain words, on your phone, your computer or the web: free, with no account. We also make PriorStates Memory, an open-source shared memory and research journal for AI agents, plus PriorStates Link.

## PriorStates Studio

PriorStates Studio (formerly Palmtop) makes a small app when you say what you need in everyday words: a sign-up sheet, an order form, a poll, a tracker, a tool that tidies your files. It is ready in about a minute, and you change it by asking.

- Price: free. No account, no ads. A free starter AI is included, limited per day; you can also add your own AI key.
- Sharing: send an app as a link. People open it in any browser and install nothing; their replies come back to you, sealed end to end so only your devices can read them.
- Gallery: 76 ready-made apps to start from (listed below).
- Languages: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, Español, Português.
- Your apps stay on your phone or your computer, and you can back them up to a file.

### Make any app yours

Every Gallery app is a starting point. Add one, then ask Studio to change it in plain words, for example "change the items to my bakery's menu", "add a pickup day" or "show prices in euros". Studio makes the change with its free starter AI (limited per day) or your own AI key. Every change is kept in the app's History and can be undone with Restore. When the Gallery app is updated, a copy you changed is offered the update: bring it into your version, replace yours, or keep yours, so your changes are not lost. Duplicate makes a second copy to try something else, and you can share your version by link; it says which app it was based on. Apps and changes stay on your device.
