The app renders the change on its own pages. Every value is checked against what the app allows; anything else is refused with a reason.
It becomes a template inside the app. Undo, restore any earlier version, or reset to the publisher's default.
The assistant edits a small document of settings — never CSS, never code — so a style can't reach the network or read your documents. What the app cannot express yet, Desk writes down instead of inventing.
Where things live
Desk keeps the styles you shape, with their history, in your browser or on your computer. Each app keeps its own documents and data on its own origin — Desk cannot read them, and removing a style never touches your work. Export your desk any time; no accounts, no tracking.
