Market Watch · Free app · PriorStates Studio

See how your stocks are moving tonight, not tomorrow morning.

Live prices for the stocks, indices and gold you follow, also before the open, after the close and at weekends.
Outside US trading hours the prices are indicative: they come from 24-hour markets that track each stock, not from the exchange. Not investment advice.

The try page runs the app with example data. Nothing to install, nothing kept.

How it helps

Live, and labelled

While the app is open, prices update every few seconds. The status line says “US market open · live” during US trading hours, and “indicative” before the open, after the close and at weekends, with the time of the last update.

Stocks, indices and gold

Start with the S&P 500, NVIDIA, Apple, Tesla, Microsoft and gold, or search every market the app follows: popular stocks, a Nasdaq-100 style index, gold, silver and oil.

The last 24 hours

Tap a row for a 24-hour chart, the 24-hour range and volume, and the reference price that the market tracks next to the market price.

Add from a screenshot

Take a picture of a watchlist on any screen, or choose a screenshot from your broker or a news app. The AI in Studio reads the symbols, and you tick the ones to add.

🔒 Private by design

Your watchlist stays on your phone. There is no account and nothing to connect: while it is open, the app only downloads public market prices. A screenshot goes to the AI only to read the symbols on it. Market Watch does not trade, place orders or give advice.

Every version is kept in History, so any change can be undone.

Questions

Where do the prices come from?

From Hyperliquid's public market data: its 24-hour markets (perpetual contracts) that track a stock, an index or gold. The app shows each market's reference price, which follows the stock, moved live by trading between updates. The app only reads these public prices: it doesn't trade, and there is no account there or with us.

Is it the same as the price on the exchange?

Close, but not the same. During US trading hours it usually stays within a few hundredths of a percent of the stock. Before the open, after the close and at weekends it is an indicative price from markets that keep trading, and it can differ from the next official open or close. It is not an exchange quote and not the official closing price.

Can I trade, or get advice?

No. Market Watch only shows prices. It doesn't place orders, doesn't connect to a broker and doesn't recommend anything. Nothing in it is investment advice.

What does it cost? Do I need an account?

Nothing, and no. Market Watch and PriorStates Studio are free, with no ads and no sign-up. Reading a screenshot uses the AI in Studio: a free starter, limited per day, or your own AI key. Searching and adding symbols by hand needs no AI.

Which devices does it work on?

Android and iPhone with the Studio app, and any browser with Studio on the web. You can try it first in your browser with example prices.

Market Watch is one of the free apps in the Studio Gallery. Studio changes it for you when you ask, and makes a new app when you describe what you need: a sign-up sheet, an order form, a tracker.
