Privacy and your data

What stays on your devices, what our relay sees, and where AI requests go. A summary of the Studio privacy policy.

In short

  • Your apps and data stay on your devices. No account, no ads, no tracking. Not on our servers.
  • Links and answers are encrypted. Our one service, the relay, passes encrypted bytes between devices and cannot read them. Orders and questions are sealed to a key only your phone holds.
  • A Google Drive copy is optional and off until you turn it on. It goes to a hidden folder in your own Drive; PriorStates never receives it.
  • Usage counts are anonymous: at most once a day, "opened today", the kind of device, and which Gallery apps were opened, with no identifier. Apps you made are never listed. Turn it off in Settings → Usage counts.
  • AI requests. With the free starter AI, build requests go through our relay to an AI service provider we choose; the relay does not keep their content. With your own key or your own computer, requests go straight to the service you chose.

This is a summary. The Studio privacy policy is the full text, and it is updated before anything Studio collects changes.
